Biindigen! Welcome!
Thank you for connecting with Be-Dah-Bin Gamik. The Annual Traditional Pow Wow is around the corner, and we welcome community allyship to help continue the support in reconciliation.
Every year Conestoga opens its doors and invites all nations and relations to come celebrate at our Annual Traditional Pow Wow.
The Pow Wow honours Indigenous ways of knowing and being through the celebration of life.Providing Indigenous learners with cultural appropriate events and activities empowers students to proudly celebrate who they are as First Peoples of Turtle Island and supports overall academic success. The Pow Wow gives students, staff and community the opportunity to come together and experience the beauty and resilience of Indigenous languages and cultural practices.
Conestoga is home to the largest Pow Wow held in the Waterloo region. Open to all community, the Annual Traditional Pow Wow offers a safe space for Indigenous and non-Indigenous community to be active participants in reconciliation and help support the reclamation of Indigenous culture and identity.
