Gift Type Definitions

• Cash - A one-time donation of either cash, payroll deduction, credit card, cheque, or direct debit. 
• Pledge - A promise to make a donation. Pledges can be paid in single or multiple payments called installments. 
• Pay-Cash - Payments towards an outstanding pledge by either cash, cheque, credit card, direct debit or payroll deduction.
• Gift-In-Kind - A donation of goods or services for which you can easily assign a monetary value.
• Stock/Property - A donation of stock or property.
• Pending - Online transactions that have been received but have not yet been processed by the Advancement office.
